In order to strengthen marine and fisheries development policies, especially capture fisheries in Central Java Province, a working group meeting on sustainable demersal fisheries management was held in Central Java Province on November 30, 2020 at the Office of the Marine and Fisheries Service of Central Java Province.

The meeting was opened by the Head of Capture Fisheries, Central Java DKP, attended by the Head of Capture Fisheries Division of Central Java DKP, Head of Marine, Coastal and Small Islands Division of Central Java DKP, Head of Fisheries Marine Resources Supervisory Division of Central Java DKP, Secretary, Head of Subdivision Central Java DKP Program, 13 Heads of Coastal Fishing Ports (PPP) in Central Java, Dr. Dian Wijayanto FPIK Undip, PSP-FPIK IPB, and Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia. The results of this meeting formulated priority programs, namely strengthening the duties and functions of fishing ports, sustainable demersal fisheries management and awareness about sustainable fisheries management.
