The Rekam Nusantara Foundation was involved in a strategic meeting for the implementation of the Shark Conservation Fund (SCF) grant program for the second year. The Rekam Nusantara Foundation received an SCF grant through WCS for 3 years for shark and ray conservation activities in Central Java, especially wedgefish and giant guitarfish under the program "Promoting conservation of wedgefish and giant guitarfish in the Java sea, to prevent extinctions of endangered species and implement CITES in Indonesia".
Meeting activities are held from Wednesday to Friday, December 9-11, 2020, through the online media zoom meeting. The meeting was facilitated by the WCS South East Asia Archipelago, and attended by WCS Indonesia Program and organizations that received SCF grants through the Rekam Nusantara Foundation, Manta Trust and Misool Baseftin.
The activity discussed the evaluation of programs that have been carried out in the previous year and program plans that will be carried out in the next year, as well as discussing national and regional issues related to shark and ray conservation.
