The threadfin bream (Nemipterus japonicus) is one type of demersal fish that has important economic value. The threadfin bream is usually used as a raw material in making surimi or crushed fish meat, where the crushed fish will be processed into processed fish foods such as meatballs, sausages, nuggets and others.

This technical report is the result of an analysis of the condition of the threadfin bream fishery in Banten Bay and the Sunda Strait, 2013 – 2016. The data used are data from previous studies, then the data is generated using random distribution (rnorm and urnorm) data generation techniques, random Beta (rbeta), and resample. The data used is the data of the length distribution of the threadfin bream fish.

The analysis carried out can describe the level of utilization of the threadfin bream fish in Banten Bay, which can be used as an input in the management of the threadfin bream fishery in the future.
