The Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative to promote sustainable fisheries. As FIP practitioner in Indonesia, Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia (FRCI) attended the America and Asia Pacific Regional Workshop held by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) on Tuesday, 7 February 2023 at the Melia Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali.

During this occasion, FRCI Project Leader, Annisya Rosdiana, presented a poster on the FRCI FIP program titled 'Indonesia Saleh Bay Snapper and Grouper - Bottom Longline and Handline'. The presentation touched on topics such as challenges, lessons learned, and accomplishments in the program’s implementation. By participating in this workshop, FRCI hopes to build a network and improve its FIP program so the Saleh Bay snapper and grouper fishery becomes sustainable—in line with the MSC Fisheries Standard.
