In order to support capacity building in fisheries management in Central Java, the Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia (FRCI) supports the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to develop applications for Sailing Approval Letter (SPB) and logbooks. It is hoped that with this application, services for issuing SPB can be carried out more quickly, with a pilot location in PPP Klidang Lor Batang.

The trial activity was carried out on December 15, 2020, at the Office of the Head of the Marine and Fisheries Service (DKP) of Central Java. The trial was carried out by the FRCI team together with the Head of PPP, Klidang Lor and the Head of Harbormaster DKP Central Java.

The trial discussed the flow in the use of applications for SPB services, from initial paperwork submission until the SPB is signed by the harbormaster at the port.
