Due to fisheries data deficiency, Indonesia requires alternative solutions for fisheries data collection to support sustainable fisheries management. To answer this issue, the Department of Fisheries Resource Utilization of IPB University together with the Rekam Nusantara Foundation unit the Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia (FRCI) initiated the program titled "Development of Independent Fish Data Collection through Crowd Data Crawling (CDC) for Business Intelligence Practitioners and Fisheries Management".
This artificial intelligence (AI) based initiative, supported by Kedaireka, held User Perception Test data collection for the currently-developed CDC Dashboard on October 12th 2023 at IICC Botani Square Bogor. This activity was carried out in conjunction with "The 2nd Capture Fisheries International Seminar" themed Smart Technology for Sustainable Fisheries. User perception tests were carried out to gain input from users regarding the design and information displayed on the CDC dashboard https://cdc-ikan.id/.

During the activity, as many as 40 respondents from various groups were successfully interviewed and filled out the questionnaires given, with the number of stand visitors being more than 100 people who interacted directly with the stand staff.
For further development, user perception data collection and system reliability testing will also be held in 4 other project sites, namely: Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara; Serang, Banten; Cilacap, Central Java; as well as Semarang and/or Rembang, Central Java.
