Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia created an application with artificial intelligence, namely machine learning Fishing Vessel Data. This application functions as a filter and supervise data on registered fishing vessels.

One of the challenges in fishing vessel data management is that there are many discrepancies in the number of fishing vessel data with the number of vessels in the field, due to similarities in names and data replication caused by human error. This application is expected to be a tool in providing initial information on the existence of fishing vessel data that has the possibility of replication or duplication, so that further analysis of vessel data that has similarities can be carried out.

One pilot project of this application will be implemented in Central Java Province in collaboration with the Central Java Marine and Fisheries Service. This application will be synchronized with data owned by the province of Central Java.
